YOUR HAIR TRANSPLANT JOURNEY
What to Expect,
Step by Step
We want you to feel completely at ease and fully informed at every stage. Here is how a typical journey with us unfolds.
THE PROCESS
From Consultation to Recovery
Your hair transplant journey is carefully planned, from your initial assessment through to your procedure and long-term follow-up. Our goal is to make the process straightforward, supportive and tailored to you.

Individual assessment.
Tailored treatment.
Lasting results.
1. Consultation & Personalised Planning
Assessment of your hair loss, donor area, hair characteristics and goals helps determine surgical suitability and shape an individual treatment plan.
2. Preparing for Treatment Day
Clear pre-operative guidance is provided before surgery, with your treatment plan reviewed again on the day before the procedure begins.
3. Your Hair Restoration Procedure
Individual follicular units are extracted using FUE and placed according to the planned recipient areas, hair direction and selected implantation method.
4. Recovery & Early Healing
Aftercare guidance supports early healing and helps protect the newly transplanted grafts, with follow-up available throughout your recovery.
5. Growth & Long-Term Support
Growth develops gradually over the following months, with progress reviewed as the transplanted hair continues to mature.
YOUR PROCEDURE
Planned With Precision
Your treatment plan guides each stage of surgery, from hairline design and recipient planning to follicular-unit extraction and implantation.

HAIRLINE DESIGN
A Natural, Individual Approach
The hairline position, shape and distribution are planned around your facial proportions, existing hair, donor capacity and the anticipated pattern of future hair loss.
FUE EXTRACTION & IMPLANTATION
Precision at Every Stage
Individual follicular units are extracted from the donor area using FUE and placed according to the planned recipient areas, direction and selected implantation method.

ONGOING CARE
We Are With You All the Way
Your result develops gradually over 12 to 18 months, and we stay in close touch throughout. Photographic comparisons at every milestone so you can see your progress clearly.
2–3 Months:
Early Recovery & Healing
The scalp continues to heal as the transplanted grafts settle. Early shedding can occur during this stage and is usually part of the normal post-transplant process.
6–9 Months:
Growth & Development
New hair becomes increasingly visible during this period. Progress is reviewed as the transplanted hair develops in length, calibre and coverage.

12–18 Months:
Final Result Review
The transplanted hair continues to mature in texture and appearance. Your result can then be reviewed alongside your original treatment plan and clinical photographs.

Follow-up allows healing, growth and maturation to be reviewed against your individual treatment plan.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Honest Answers About Your Results
Transplanted follicles are generally long-lasting because they retain the characteristics of the donor area. Growth develops gradually, and the timing, density and final appearance vary between individuals.
First Signs
Early growth commonly begins to become visible around three to five months
after treatment.
Early Shedding
A temporary shedding phase during the first few weeks is expected. The transplanted follicles remain beneath the skin before entering a new growth cycle
Your Main Result
A substantial proportion of growth is usually visible by around 12 months,
with further maturation of density and texture possible up to 18 months.
Protecting Your Result
Where appropriate, medical and non-surgical options may be discussed to
support existing hair and help manage ongoing hair loss.
RESULTS DEVELOP AT DIFFERENT RATES
Every Hair Transplant Journey Is Individual
Everyone’s hair grows at a different pace, so results can develop differently from person to person.
Progress is best reviewed over time as your hair continues to grow and mature

UNDERSTANDING YOUR TREATMENT
What Does The Graft Number Actually Mean?
A graft is a natural follicular unit removed from the donor area for transplantation. Each graft contains one or more individual hair follicles, and each follicle grows a single hair.
This means a graft may contain one, two, three or sometimes four hair follicles. Therefore, the number of hairs transplanted is usually greater than the number of grafts.
Your estimated graft number is based on the area being treated, your donor supply, hair characteristics and the density that can be safely achieved.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

Hair Transplantation
Is Permanent Surgery
Hair transplantation permanently relocates selected follicles, so careful planning of the donor and recipient areas is important.

Results Naturally Vary
Healing, growth, density and the final appearance vary between individuals. Expected outcomes and surgical risks are discussed during consultation and consent.

Future Treatment
Hair loss can continue in non-transplanted areas. If further treatment may be beneficial, this can be reviewed as your result develops.
