SURGICAL CONTINUITY
Your Hair Transplant is Led by the Surgeon You Consult
Dr Feyroza Mustaeva personally assesses your hair loss, plans your hairline and graft distribution, and leads the key stages of your FUE or Unshaven FUE hair transplant.
This continuity allows every decision—from donor management and hairline placement to graft direction and density—to follow one coherent surgical plan.
The objective is not simply to transplant the greatest possible number of grafts, but to use your available donor hair carefully and create a result that remains appropriate as your appearance and hair-loss pattern evolve.

Your Hair Transplant Journey
From your first consultation to your final results, every stage of your hair restoration journey is carefully planned and tailored to you. Your surgeon will guide you through the entire process, ensuring you understand each step and know exactly what to expect before, during, and after your FUE hair transplant.
STEP 1 Consultation & Hair Loss Assessment
Your journey begins with a detailed consultation with our surgeon. We assess your pattern of hair loss, donor area, hair characteristics, medical history, and personal goals to determine the most suitable approach for your hair restoration.
STEP 4 Recovery & Aftercare Support
Following your hair transplant, you will receive detailed aftercare guidance to support healing and protect your newly transplanted grafts. Most patients can return to normal daily activities within a short period, depending on their individual recovery.
STEP 2 Personalised Treatment Planning
Every hair transplant is individually planned. We design a natural hairline, estimate the required grafts, and create a treatment strategy that considers your facial features, existing hair, and future hair loss progression.
STEP 5 Hair Growth & Development
Transplanted hairs typically shed during the early weeks after surgery before entering a new growth cycle. New hair growth usually begins from around 3–4 months, with continued thickening and improvement over the following months.
STEP 3 FUE Hair Transplant Procedure
On the day of your procedure, your surgeon carefully performs the key stages of your FUE hair transplant. Follicular units are extracted from the donor area and precisely implanted to recreate natural growth patterns, density, and direction.
STEP 6 Final Natural Results
Your final result develops gradually as the transplanted hair matures. Around 12–18 months after your procedure, you can expect fuller, natural-looking hair that has been designed to complement your appearance and long-term goals.
Is a Hair Transplant Right for You?
Hair transplantation can provide a permanent and natural-looking solution for many types of hair loss.
However, the right approach depends on your individual pattern of hair loss, donor hair availability, and personal goals.
You may be suitable if you have:
✓ Male or female pattern hair loss
✓ Receding hairline or thinning areas
✓ Crown thinning or reduced density
✓ Stable areas of hair loss that you want
to restore
A successful result depends on:
✓ Careful assessment of your hair loss patterns
✓ Quality and availability of your donor hair
✓ Designing a natural hairline suited to your
features
✓ Realistic expectations about your final result
During your consultation, we assess:
✓ Your medical and hair loss history
✓ Your scalp and donor area
✓ The most suitable treatment options
✓ Your goals and expectations
Every Patient is Different
A hair transplant is not a one-size-fits-all procedure.
Our approach is focused on creating natural results that complement your appearance while planning for your long-term hair restoration journey.

Patients Experiences
Real People. Real Results.
I had a hair transplant done by Dr Feyroza. Maintaining very high standard of professionalism, looked after me very well from the beginning till the end, very happy with the services provided. Many thanks.
The welcome was very reassuring — friendly, helpful, courteous and professional. Dr Feyroza explained the procedure, her plan and what I could expect. She listened to my expectations and what I wanted to achieve, and we were both happy with the hairline design. Throughout the procedure, Dr Feyroza and Nurse Aida made sure I was comfortable and kept me at ease. The procedure itself was almost pain-free and the whole day was perfect — I wouldn’t change a thing. The results so far are fantastic, with clear aftercare advice provided
I have had two hair transplants and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I was very pleased with my experience in London. Dr Feyroza and her assistant treated me with professionalism and great care. Dr Feyroza made me feel that I was in safe hands, patiently answering all my questions and concerns. She even made me smile when I left. I can’t find words to thank her for the great work during my two visits. Great professionals like her should always be well rewarded.

Hair Transplant Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing to have a hair transplant is an important decision. Here we answer some of the most common questions about the FUE hair transplant procedure, recovery, results, and what you can expect when choosing HairMD London.
1. What is a hair transplant? A hair transplant moves hair follicles from a donor area (usually the back and sides of the scalp) to areas of thinning or baldness. The transplanted follicles continue to grow naturally in their new location.
2. What's the difference between FUE and DHI? FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) removes individual follicles and implants them into pre-made recipient sites. DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) is a variant of FUE that implants follicles in one step without pre-made incisions using a specialised tool, allowing more precise placement and control over angle and depth.
3. Am I a good candidate for a hair transplant? Candidacy depends on donor hair density, the pattern and stage of hair loss, and scalp condition. A consultation and scalp assessment determine suitability.
4. Is the procedure painful? Local anaesthetic is used throughout, so the procedure itself is not painful. Mild discomfort or tightness in the days after is normal and manageable with standard aftercare.
5. How long does the procedure take? Most procedures take between 4 and 8 hours, depending on the number of grafts required.
6. Do I need to shave my head? FUE typically requires shaving the donor area (and sometimes the recipient area). Unshaven FUE is possible for smaller sessions, keeping surrounding hair long to cover the donor area during recovery.
7. When will I see results? Transplanted hair sheds within 2–4 weeks (this is expected and temporary). New growth typically begins around month 3–4, with visible density improving progressively. Final results are usually seen at 12–18 months.
8. Is the result permanent? Transplanted follicles are generally long-lasting because they are selected from donor areas that are more resistant to pattern hair loss. However, surrounding native hair may continue to thin, and individual outcomes vary.
9. What does recovery involve? Mild swelling and scabbing in the recipient area for 7–10 days is normal. Most people return to non-strenuous work within 3–5 days. Strenuous exercise and sun exposure should be avoided for several weeks.
10. Will there be visible scarring? FUE leaves tiny, dot-like marks in the donor area that are generally not visible once hair grows back, even at shorter lengths.
11. How many grafts will I need? This depends on the extent of hair loss and desired density, and is assessed during consultation. Typical sessions range from 1,500 to 4,000+ grafts.
12. How much does it cost? Cost depends on the number of grafts and technique used, typically ranging from £3,999 to £9,999.
