2. Preparing for Treatment Day
Before your procedure, we provide detailed instructions and answer any questions. On the day itself, your surgeon reviews the treatment plan with you to ensure everything is clear before treatment begins.
3. Your Hair Restoration Procedure
The treatment area is comfortably numbed using local anaesthetic. Donor follicles are carefully harvested, prepared by our surgical team, and then meticulously implanted into areas of thinning to create a natural-looking result.
4. Recovery & Early Healing
You return home the same day with personalised aftercare instructions, prescribed medication where appropriate, and direct access to our team should you need support. Most patients resume normal daily activities within a few days.
5. Growth & Long-Term Support
Hair growth develops gradually over the following months. We remain in close contact throughout your journey, monitoring progress and providing ongoing support to help you achieve the best possible outcome.

Transplanted hair is permanent. Once it grows, it is yours for life and
behaves just like the rest of your natural hair. Here is what the timeline looks like:
First signs
Most patients begin to see new hair emerging between
3 and 5 months after treatment.
Early shedding
A short shedding phase in the first few weeks is completely normal —
the follicle stays in place and regrows from new home.
Your main result
Most of your result is visible by 12 months. Full density and texture is
assessed at 18 months.

What does the graft number actually mean?
Each graft holds between one and four hairs. A medium session of 2,000–2,500 grafts typically produces 4,000–6,500 new hairs. We always explain this at consultation so there are no surprises — just a clear picture of what your treatment will achieve.
Hair transplantation is a permanent procedure and cannot be undone — results can be refined over time with further treatment if wished. As with any surgical procedure, there is a small possibility of infection, temporary shedding of existing hair, and natural variation in outcomes. Everything is covered in full at your consultation and in your consent documentation.
We do not offer free top-up procedures. If further treatment is ever something worth considering, we will discuss it openly at your 12 or 18-month review and give you a clear, transparent quote.
